Overlimits 2026: Memorial trek for Abi

Always in Mind. Every Step. Every Peak. On Thursday 28th May 2026, we trek through the Yorkshire 3 Peaks in memory of Abi Godfrey. This day is dedicated to her memory—a time for us to walk, talk, and remember together in the landscape she loved. This is not a race. It is a shared journey of remembrance. We will navigate the peaks at a pace that allows for reflection, support, and the celebration of a life that continues to inspire us all.

The Journey

We will follow the classic circular route, with options to suit everyone who wishes to be part of the day:
  • The Full Tribute (24 Miles): For those wishing to complete the traditional circuit of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough.
  • The Single Peak Walk: A dedicated group will focus on a single guided climb (Pen-y-Ghent), allowing us all to start together and reunite at the finish.
  • The double: An epic trek that takes in both Pen-y-Ghent and the highest of the 3 Peaks Whernside, stopping at the Philpin Farm Campsite and Café. (Transport provided back to the start)

Our “Overlimits” Support

Guided Support: Qualified mountain leaders to lead the way so you can focus on the walk and each other. The Memory Book: We will issue a symbolic book to the group, where those who wish can pause and leave a few words of grace or personal message. The Support Van: Our VW Transporter will be stationed at Ribblehead and Hill Inn with water, hot drinks, additional first aid and a place to rest if needed.
